Caring for my home is how I care for myself. This is the short list of what I truly use in my own home.

Hi, I’m Kim.

Kim Reynolds, smiling in a kitchen

I have autism. I also live with mental health challenges. Organizing is how I cope.

If my keys don’t have one home, they’re gone, and hunting for them can tip an hour or a few hours. Being organized isn’t the absence of my struggle. It’s my answer to it.

But my house was fully organized, and it still wasn’t enough. I also needed to look at the rhythm of my days and how I was caring for my mind and body. Everything on this page is something I truly use in my own home.

Organizing is how I cope. If my keys don’t have one home, they’re gone. These are the bins, baskets, and tools that give every thing a home, so nothing has to be hunted for.

My top pick

All-purpose clear bin

You can’t overbuy all-purpose bins.

12 by 12 inches. Pantry, playroom, bathroom, and it fits a cube shelf.

  • Clear storage bins

See what you have in the pantry, under the sink, or in the closet.

  • Plastic bins with handles

Four sizes for the pantry, kitchen, and bathroom. The handles make them easy to pull out.

  • Multi-purpose bin

Tall and narrow, so two medium bins fit side by side in one cube.

    PlatinumLED BIOMAX 900

I have the biggest panel in the BIOMAX line.

      How this page fits together

A neurodivergent mind needs more than an organized home.

      1. Structure, for the space.

Every thing has a home, so nothing has to be hunted for.

      2. Rhythm, for the days.

The routines that carry you through mornings, evenings, and low-energy days.

      3. Sensory, for the mind and body.

How your space and your day feel to your senses: light, sound, textures, smell, and what you wear.

They feed each other. An organized drawer means no searching at night, so the evening routine stays calm and the mind and body can relax.

What I Wear · I have autism, so certain clothes work better for me.

My favorites are on the way.

Skincare · What I use, and why I use it.

Textures and smell are part of the sensory pillar, so what goes on my skin matters to me.

        My top pick

        OSEA Anti-Aging Body Balm

It has coconut in it, and I love it.
